Trying to log onto my Microsoft 365 account on Ipad but getting stuck on MFA

I used to be logged in to my 365 account on both my desktop and ipad absolutely fine.

I changed my ipad and now I get caught in a authenticator loop when trying to log in to Word etc - its asking for a code from authenticator but I can't get one as it opens me in the app itself. I'm just stuck in a loop. I followed the help guidance to offload authenticator. I've turning off MFA in my 365 account, but it's still looping me into the authenticator. I just can't find a way round it. I know my password but I can't get an option to log on just with that.

It's a work account - but I don't have an IT support - it's my business account

    Greetings,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft forum.

Would you kindly share with me how you turn off the MFA so that I may know how to proceed further.

In order to narrow down this issue, I would like to know:

1/ What Microsoft 365 subscription are you using (Business Basic, Business Standard, Business Premium, etc.)?

2/ Do you still have access to the old phone or device that previously had Microsoft Authenticator installed?

3/ When the prompt appears, do you see an option to "Use another verification method"?

4/ Could you share with me how you disabled MFA, as you mentioned?

5/ Would you kindly share your domain name with me? (the entire part that comes after the "@" symbol of your email)

Looking forward to hearing from you.
