    Open Word.

    Click the Word icon on the top menu, then select 'Update Licence' from the resulting drop-down menu.

    If that does not resolve the problem, at the top left of your Desktop, click the Apple icon and select 'About this Mac', what version of MacOS is installed on your computer?

    Also, what error is indicated in Word, please provide a screenshot of the error.
