Scheduling and managing events using Outlook.com calendar
To change the day and time of a bi-weekly Outlook.com meeting, open it from Calendar, select Edit, choose which part of the recurring series to change, update the date and time, and select Send.^1^
Steps in Outlook on the web or Outlook.com
- Open Outlook Calendar.
- Select one occurrence of the bi-weekly meeting.
- Select Edit.
- Choose the appropriate scope:
- This event — changes only the selected meeting.
- This and all following events — changes the selected meeting and every later meeting while preserving earlier occurrences.
- All events in the series — changes the complete bi-weekly series.
- Change the date, start time, and end time.
- If necessary, adjust Repeat so the meeting remains scheduled every two weeks.
- Select:
- Send for a meeting with attendees. They will receive an updated invitation.
- Save for a personal appointment without attendees.
Only the meeting organizer can change and send updates for a meeting with attendees.^2^
If the new schedule should start from a particular date, select that occurrence and use This and all following events. This avoids changing meetings that already occurred.
