Grainy textures on games

So i have been noticing grainy textures in my games (ex: cs2, skate) especially in dark areas. Even on high textures its still there. The grainy texture seems to be constantly moving. Hii,

Search for msinfo32.exe in the search bar, take a screenshot, and post it here so we can see the correct laptop model or desktop configuration.

What is your GPU?

Did you get to Shapness in the GPU or Granulation settings?

What is the monitor model?

Also, try accessing the Nvidia App, go to the "System" tab > "Color Filter," and check if "Digital Vibrance" is set above 30%—try adjusting it.

Does this issue only happen with these two games?

Hello, i have a philips 27m1c5200w monitor and here are my nvidia control pannel settings

also it doesnt happen only in those 2. I just listed the games in which is the most obvious.

Hi,

Try lowering the Digital Vibrance and resetting your monitor settings to default—the MPRT feature might be the cause. Also, try testing with a different HDMI or DP cable.

After reseting the colour and monitor settings to default and switching hdmi cables the issue is still there. Also MSRP is off.

Are you using Image Sharpening or DSR, enabled via the Nvidia Control Panel?

Or

Are you targeting a resolution higher than 1080p?

Hi,

That’s strange. Are you using "High Dynamic Range" (under Advanced Video settings) in CS2, and is it set to "Performance" mode?

If so, please take a screenshot after changing the setting and post it here.

Also, if possible, try swapping the HDMI or DP cable you’re using for your monitor—just as a test.

Since the screenshot of your settings doesn't show any graininess, the issue is likely within the games themselves, rather than with the Nvidia system.

Yes, my high dynamic range is set to performance. Also there is no difference between DP and HDMI.
