    Hello shelley LeBoeuf,

I'm here to help. Let's try to narrow down whether the problem is with Outlook on your PC or the Rogers email account itself.

Could you please sign in to your Rogers Yahoo Mail directly through a web browser and try sending an email to yourself?

    • If it works: The issue may be with Outlook's connection or account configuration.
    • If it doesn't: The problem may be with the Rogers email account or service.

Let me know the result and whether you're using classic Outlook or new Outlook on your PC.

You can also refer to Rogers' email troubleshooting guide.

This information comes directly from the Rogers website:

On the bottom of the same page is a link you can use to contact Rogers technical support directly.

    Try these checks in order:

    1. Make sure the PC is online. Open a browser and try loading http://www.microsoft.com or http://www.bing.com. If neither opens, fix the Windows network connection first.
    2. Check whether Outlook is offline.
      • In classic Outlook, look at the bottom status bar.
      • If it shows Disconnected, Working Offline, or Trying to connect..., go to Send/Receive on the ribbon and select Work Offline to switch back online.
      • Then try Send/Receive again.
    3. If the password was changed recently, update it in Outlook.
      • In new Outlook, select the email account name.
      • When prompted, select Continue and sign in with the new password.
      • If prompted to create an app password, get that app password from the email provider and use it in Outlook.
    4. Check mailbox or cloud storage space.
      • If Microsoft cloud storage is full, Outlook cannot send or receive email.
      • Check mailbox storage and remove items if needed.
    5. If email is not automatically sending or receiving when Outlook starts, the Send/Receive group may be damaged.
      • In Outlook 2010 and later: File > Options > Advanced > Send/Receive.
      • Select the existing group, choose Copy, give the new group a name, and select OK.
      • Select the old group and clear Include this group in Send/Receive (F9) for both online and offline.
      • Select Close, quit Outlook, and restart it.
    6. Run the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant, which is listed for Outlook when email cannot be sent or received.
    7. If the issue continues, use the Outlook troubleshooters. For classic Outlook, start with the classic Outlook troubleshooters. If that does not help, contact support.
