For the past few days, when I click on the Search in the tasbar, the content is missing except for the suggested apps.

I think you should stop modifying your Windows installation. What you are seeing is the current version of Windows Search. I'm on the latest regular Windows 26H2 version (26300.9711) and this is what I'm seeing on the Search window without actually doing any search, so no search history is shown.
This is what happens when I enter some search text in the search bar:
I haven't yet selected any search results, but if I would have done this, the results would be shown in the Search history.
I guess that you have selected the option "Search box" in "Personalisation -> Taskbar -> Search". With this option selected, the "Search bar" is not shown at the top of "Suggested". This bar is shown when selecting the "Search icon only" or "Search icon and label" options.
Don't you see the "Search bar" at the top of "Suggested"?
There are some reports of this problems lately, this may be caused by a new setting added to Windows 11.
Open the Settings App.
Go to Privacy and Security - Search.
Do you have a new section in there labelled 'how suggested search results'.
If so, try toggling the settings in that section On to test if that resolves the problem.
