The server used to retrieve stock data has been unavailable for the past two days. Could you please provide an update on the issue and an estimated time for service to be restored?

There is no published ETA for restoration in the available information.

    What is supported:

    • Multiple users have reported the same Excel Stock Data / STOCK_HISTORY outage behavior over the last two days.
    • In similar cases, no official announcement or service advisory was available at the time.
    • If this is a Microsoft 365 business tenant, the recommended escalation path is Microsoft 365 Admin Center → Health → Service health → Report an issue.
    • A practical interim step is to wait a few hours and try refreshing again, because the issue may be temporary.
    • Another supported action is to submit feedback from within Excel using Help → Send feedback.

    Dear @Clover Keth

I understand the interruption is affecting your work. To help distinguish a connection failure from missing market data, could you confirm:

    • Are you using the Stocks data type or the STOCKHISTORY function?
    • Do you receive an error, or do prices remain unchanged?
    • Are all tickers affected, or only particular stocks or exchanges?

I recommend testing one affected ticker in a new blank workbook, then testing it in Excel for the web using the same account. Please keep your original workbook unchanged.

If the new workbook works, the issue may be specific to the original file. If only certain tickers fail, please share one example and its exchange so I can help check the scope.

If you use STOCKHISTORY, please also share the formula. It generally returns historical data after the trading day completes, rather than live intraday prices.
