The unsistsidae.co.in warnings are very likely deceptive website notifications rather than detections from Windows Security, so do not click them and remove that site’s notification permission from the browser named in the alert.
Stop the notifications
- Look at the bottom of the notification for wording such as “via Microsoft Edge,” “Google Chrome,” or “Firefox.”
- Open that browser’s settings.
- Find Site permissions, Notifications, or Permissions.
- In the list of sites allowed to send notifications, find
unsistsidae.co.inand select Block or Remove. - Remove any other unfamiliar sites from the allowed list.
If the notification says “via Microsoft Edge”:
- Open Edge.
- Select … (Settings and more) → Settings.
- Go to Privacy, search, and services → Site permissions → All sites.
- Select
unsistsidae.co.in. - Set Notifications to Block. Website notifications can appear even when Edge is closed, which explains why they may resemble Windows alerts.^1^
Do not click the warning, call a displayed telephone number, install anything it offers, or provide payment or account information. Similar .co.in “virus detected” alerts have been identified as browser-based support scams rather than Microsoft warnings.^2^
Clear the site’s stored data
For Edge:
- Press Ctrl+Shift+Delete.
- Choose an appropriate time range—use All time if unsure when the notifications started.
- Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
- Select Clear now.
Clearing cookies signs you out of most websites.^3^
For another browser, clear its cookies/site data and cache from its privacy settings.
Check what security is active
Windows 10 and Windows 11 include the Windows Security app, with Microsoft Defender Antivirus, firewall protection, and real-time protection.^4^
- Open Start and search for Windows Security.
- Select Virus & threat protection.
- Under Who’s protecting me?, select Manage providers to see whether Microsoft Defender or another antivirus product is active.^5^
- Open Protection history to check whether Windows Security recorded a genuine threat. A browser message alone is not the same as a Defender detection.
- Select Scan options → Full scan → Scan now. Defender reports whether it finds anything.^6^
If another antivirus is installed and working, Microsoft Defender Antivirus may automatically be disabled; do not run two real-time antivirus products unnecessarily.^5^
If the warnings continue
- Recheck the notification permissions in the browser identified on the alert.
- Remove browser extensions you do not recognize.
- If the same threat is recorded repeatedly in Windows Security, run Microsoft Defender Offline from Virus & threat protection → Scan options. Save all work first because the computer restarts for this scan.^7^
- If you clicked the warning and entered a password, change that password from a clean device and enable multifactor authentication. If you provided card or banking details, contact the financial institution immediately.
