Check Microsoft Rewards → Redeem → Order history first; if neither offer shows as completed, retry once through the Bing app or an InPrivate/Incognito browser window, then contact Microsoft Rewards Support if the same processing error continues.
1. Check whether redemption was recorded
- Open the Microsoft Rewards Order history page: https://rewards.bing.com/redeem/orderhistory
- Find the Duolingo and Spotify entries and inspect Status and Order Details.
- If an order completed, use Order Details to obtain its redemption link/code. You can also select Resend for another confirmation email.^1^
- If an entry is Pending or Declined, do not repeatedly submit it. If nothing appears, wait briefly and refresh—the order may not have been created or may not yet be visible.
The screenshots show that the coupon reduced each offer to 0 points, but they do not prove whether the coupon itself, the account, or the order-processing service caused the failure.
2. Retry once using a different redemption client
For this same Spotify final-order-processing error, the accepted troubleshooting path is to try the Bing app, another browser, or an Incognito/InPrivate window.^2^
Before retrying:
- Turn off any VPN or proxy.
- Redeem from the same country/region where the Rewards account was registered.
- If phone verification appears, use a mobile or landline number—not a VoIP number.
- If several verification attempts failed, wait 48 hours before trying again.^3^
3. Check offer eligibility
If Microsoft successfully creates the order but the partner later rejects activation, check the conditions displayed on the offer:
- Duolingo: an existing Super Duolingo subscriber is not eligible; account registration and a credit card are required.
- Spotify: eligibility is restricted to new or qualifying returning Premium users, as described in the offer terms.
These restrictions are separate from the Microsoft dialog shown in the screenshots, which occurs while Microsoft is processing the order.
4. Escalate a persistent failure
If both offers still produce “Couldn’t complete your order”, submit a request at:
https://rewards.bing.com/support
Include:
- Screenshots of both errors
- The approximate date and time of each attempt
- Each Order history status, or state that no entry appears
- That both offers display the same coupon and a zero-point total
- Whether the coupon disappeared after the failed attempt
Only Microsoft Rewards Support can inspect an account-side restriction or determine what happened to the coupon. Microsoft’s guidance directs unresolved redemption issues to that support form.^4^
