    Hi jedon james,

Thanks for reaching out. Since the rear camera is working but the front camera isn’t showing, I’d like to check a few details to narrow down what’s happening.

    Could you please share:

    • Your exact Surface Pro model
    • Your Windows version and build. Press Windows key + R, type winver and select OK
    • When the issue started and whether you noticed it after an update or another change
    • What troubleshooting steps you’ve already tried
    • Whether the front camera is missing from both the built-in Camera app and other apps
    • What appears under Device Manager > Cameras, including any warning symbols

If you haven’t already, please make sure camera access is enabled under Settings > Privacy & security > Camera. It’s also worth checking Windows Update > Advanced options > Optional updates for any available camera or Surface updates.

If the front camera isn’t listed in Device Manager, select Action > Scan for hardware changes, restart the Surface and check again. If it remains missing from both the Camera app and Device Manager, the next step may be to reinstall the camera driver or have the device inspected for a possible hardware issue.

Let me know what you find and I’ll be happy to help you work out the next step.
