This app works on other sites but the site in question is just broken. No spfx will install on it which wasn't an issue previously.

We have tried via pnp but we get the same issue:

It says we have it:

User's image

But it's greyed out:

The classic site says:

User's image

Clicking Retry doesn't really give us much:

    Hi Louis,

    Thank you for reaching out.

The screenshots indicate that the app installation is stuck in an inconsistent state: the classic page reports that Filer EDRMS v2 Prod is already on the site, while Site Contents shows that SharePoint failed to finish adding it. Since other SPFx apps also fail on this site but work elsewhere, the issue appears to be specific to the affected site rather than this individual app package.

To resolve the issue, please follow these steps:

    1. Review the installation error
    • Open Settings > Site contents on the affected site.
    • Select the ellipsis next to the greyed-out app.
    • Select Details.
    • Check for an installation error, error count, or correlation ID.
    1. Remove the failed app entry
    • Remove the greyed-out app from Site Contents.
    • Allow several minutes for SharePoint to complete the removal.
    • Refresh Site Contents and confirm that the app no longer appears.
    • Reinstall the app from Add an app.
    • Please do not remove the .sppkg package from the tenant App Catalog, as the same package is working on other sites.
    1. Capture the PnP PowerShell error
    • Open PowerShell as an administrator.
    • If PnP PowerShell is not already installed, run:
    Install-Module PnP.PowerShell -Scope CurrentUser

    • Connect to the affected site by replacing the example URL and client ID with the organization’s information:
    Connect-PnPOnline `
        -Url "https://company.sharepoint.com/sites/AffectedSite" `
        -Interactive `
        -ClientId "<Entra-ID-application-client-ID>"

    • When the sign-in window appears, sign in with a SharePoint administrator or site collection administrator account that has access to the affected site.
    • After connecting, retrieve the app information:
    Get-PnPApp | Select-Object Title, Id, InstalledVersion, AppCatalogVersion

    • If the organization uses a site collection App Catalog, run:
Get-PnPApp -Scope Site | Select-Object Title, Id, InstalledVersion, AppCatalogVersion

    • After the failed app has been removed, retry the installation and wait for SharePoint to complete the operation:
    Install-PnPApp -Identity "<AppId>" -Wait

    • For an app stored in a site collection App Catalog, run:
Install-PnPApp -Identity "<AppId>" -Scope Site -Wait

I hope your issue gets resolved soon. Any updates would be greatly appreciated.
