Building, integrating, or customizing apps and workflows within Microsoft Teams using developer tools and APIs
Hello @Shaun Fitzhenry ,
Good day! I hope you are doing well.
To help better understand the situation and provide the most accurate troubleshooting steps, could you please share the following information:
- Which application are you attempting to connect with Microsoft Teams?
- Do the account you use to connect to this a Work or School account and a Personal Microsoft account (such as Outlook.com, Hotmail.com, or Live.com)?
- When you were prompted to sign in, were you given the option to choose between a Work or School account and a Personal Microsoft account? Which option did you choose?
- Do you have multiple Microsoft accounts signed in to either Microsoft Teams or the external application/website?
- Does the account have an active Microsoft Teams license assigned?
- Are you able to create Teams meetings directly from Microsoft Teams or Outlook using the same account?
- Does the issue occur for all users or only for a specific user?
- Have there been any recent changes to the Microsoft 365 tenant, licensing, or Teams policies?
This additional context will help us better understand your environment and the steps already taken so we can tailor our guidance accordingly.
Based on the screenshot provided, the third-party application appears to be unable to create Teams meetings on behalf of the signed-in account. This can occur if the account does not have the necessary Teams permissions, licensing, mailbox configuration, or is not recognized as a valid Work or School account.
I look forward to your response and will be happy to assist further.
Kind regards.
