A PC equipped with advanced AI capabilities and Windows Copilot integration
Hello Kate Peterson,
I understand why this is concerning, especially when the missing conversations contain research and information that may be difficult to recreate.
Microsoft indicates that eligible personal Copilot chats should move automatically to the updated experience. If you originally accessed Copilot through Continue with Google, please make sure you use that same sign-in option, as a personal Copilot identity and a Microsoft 365 work or school account remain separate even when they appear to use the same email address.
Since you have already tried the common device and cache-related troubleshooting, this is unlikely to be something that can be resolved by creating another alias or making further local changes. Microsoft does not provide a fixed completion time for the migration, and there is no documented user-controlled method for manually importing the missing chats into another profile.
Please use Send feedback > Report a problem in Copilot and contact Microsoft Copilot Support. Describe the issue as a missing personal Copilot chat history after migration or a possible account-linking problem. Include the approximate date the chats disappeared, the original sign-in method, and confirmation that only the Microsoft 365 Copilot history is currently visible.
Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Community contributors cannot access account-linking records, check the server-side migration status, or restore missing conversations. Avoid posting email addresses, conversation links, chat IDs, or exported history publicly; provide those details only through the private Support channel.
I hope Microsoft Support can help determine whether the missing history is still associated with the original Copilot identity. Thank you so much for your understanding.
