I can't find allowed resource deployment regions - Azure for Students

I am trying to create a microsoft foundry resource in aide of my studies for the AI-901 course provided on microsoft learn. When I create a new project, it says I am not allowed to deploy it in this region (I've tried a few different regions). After looking at other entries to this site, I seem to need to find out which regions I have access to with my Azure for Students account. However, I have no idea how to find this out as the method illustrated online (of finding a policy with the label 'location') didn't work as I couldn't find such a policy. The page also said to contact Azure support but I have had no success with this on their support page as I can't find a relevant support area and any area I try leads me to irrelevant issues for my situation. There is no way to submit a general query, which is required here as none of the support avenues work for me, but there is also no guidance in how to proceed when you can't get any further with the automated support system. I can't continue with the course without this being fixed, so can someone help me find out how to find my 'allowed regions for resource deployment' or signpost me to where I can talk to Azure support directly about this so they can tell me the relevant regions linked to my account.

Hi Oliver,

Please follow my instructions below and reply back with your results. How long has your Azure for Students subscription existed? I've seen cases where the region restriction policy takes some time before it shows up.

Azure for Students restricts which regions you can deploy resources to. Typically you are restricted to five different regions, and these vary for each person.

Please navigate to Azure Policy -- Authoring -- Assignments using link below:

https://portal.azure.com/#view/Microsoft_Azure_Policy/PolicyMenuBlade/~/Assignments

Click on assignment named Allowed resource deployment regions

Examine Allowed locations Parameter value for list of regions, similar to below (regions in screenshot are different than yours):

The regions shown in your Parameter value are the ones you are allowed to deploy resources to. Please try to create resources in one of these regions and let me know the results.

Please click Accept Answer and upvote if the above was helpful.

Thanks.
