imo problem

Install imo Messenger Desktop from its Microsoft Store listing; if the Install button is missing or does nothing, reset the Store and then determine whether the problem affects imo only or every Store app. ^1^

Install imo

1. Open the imo Messenger Desktop Store page linked above.
2. Select View in Store if prompted.
3. Sign in to Microsoft Store with your Microsoft account.
4. Select Get or Install.
5. When installation finishes, open Start, search for imo, and select the app.

Another Store edition, imo video calls and chat HD, is also available. ^2^

If Install does not work

1. Press Windows key + R.
2. Enter wsreset.exe and select OK.
3. A blank window should appear temporarily. Wait until it closes and Microsoft Store opens automatically.
4. Search for imo and try Install again. ^3^

Next, update Windows and Microsoft Store:

1. Go to Start > Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates. Install available updates and restart the PC.
2. Open Microsoft Store > Library > Get updates.
3. After Store updates finish, retry the imo installation. ^4^

Identify whether it is an imo-only problem

Try installing one other free app from Microsoft Store:

• Other apps install: The restriction is specific to imo. The app may be unavailable for your country or region, hidden by Microsoft Family settings, or incompatible with the device. Microsoft Store can hide or disable installation for these reasons. ^3^
• No Store apps install: The problem is with Microsoft Store rather than imo. Note the exact error message or code shown beside the failed download; that code is needed to select the next repair procedure.
