I have a surface 7 laptop for business that will not power on. The machine is under warranty until April 17, 2027 but I have no way in getting assistance with the issue over the phone or with online support. I only see documents on troubleshooting. Can some create a support ticket to get my machine replaced? Please also let me know if a repair box will be sent or if a technician can come on-site. The client is located in Decatur, GA.

Community members cannot create a repair ticket for you. Since the device is a Surface for Business and remains under warranty, please submit a service request through the Microsoft Surface Support Portal or Microsoft 365 Admin Center. Microsoft Support will confirm whether a replacement, mail-in repair, or other service option is available in your location.

    Create a business service request

Use the official Microsoft Surface Support Portal. Enter the serial number and check the warranty status. For eligible business devices, this portal supports service requests for repair or replacement.

Sign in to the organization's Microsoft 365 admin center, then navigate to Support → Microsoft Surface support → Warranty service & repair → Create service request. If the request requires assistance, select Contact support and choose an available contact method.
