A family of Microsoft spreadsheet software with tools for analyzing, charting, and communicating data
Hi Mir,
Thank you for sharing what happened.
If the spreadsheet was saved to OneDrive or SharePoint, you may be able to restore the version you saved yesterday by following these steps:
- You can try opening the spreadsheet in Excel on your iPhone or iPad, tapping the file name at the top, and checking whether Version History is available.
- You can also try opening the OneDrive app or go to OneDrive on the web.
- Locate the Excel spreadsheet.
- Tap or click the three dots (…) next to the file.
- Select Version History.
-
- Find and open the version saved yesterday.
- After confirming that it contains the missing data, select Restore.
Before restoring the previous version, I recommend saving or downloading a copy of the current file, as restoring an older version may replace the changes made since that version was saved.
Version History is generally available only when the file is stored in OneDrive or SharePoint. If the spreadsheet was saved only locally under On My iPhone or On My iPad, check the Files app, including the Recently Deleted folder, for another copy of the file.
I hope you are able to recover the missing data. Should you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to share them in the comment below. I'm very happy to help.
