Have you tried clearing the Teams cache and updating the app? Also, check if Teams runs better in the web version. If it still freezes or crashes, knowing your device specs and whether this happens in other apps could help narrow down the cause.

    Dear Rakesh Jain,

Thank you for reaching out. To help narrow down whether the issue is related to the Teams desktop client, the device environment, or another component, could you please confirm the following:

    1. When does Teams usually become slow, freeze, or crash? Does this occur mainly during meetings, or also during normal use such as Chat, Channels, and Calendar?
    2. Does the issue affect only one device, or are multiple users experiencing the same behavior?
    3. Have you tested Teams on the web? If so, does the same performance issue occur there?
    4. When the issue occurs, please open Task Manager and check the CPU and Memory usage for Microsoft Teams.
    5. Are your graphics and audio drivers fully updated?
    6. Is any third-party antivirus software running on the affected device?

In the meantime, please try the following:

1.Update Teams and make sure that the latest update is installed.

    2.Check antivirus/DLP software

If non-Microsoft antivirus software is installed, please verify that Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Edge WebView2 are permitted and are not being blocked or terminated by the security software.

3.Compare Teams desktop with Teams on the web

Please use Teams on the web with the same account and check whether the performance issue or crashes can be reproduced. The overall performance of Microsoft Teams on laptops may be affected during meetings that use video. This issue can occur if a laptop is docked to an external 4K or ultra-high-definition (also known as ultra-HD or UHD) display.

    4.Try uninstalling and re-installing Teams

Kindly let me know how it goes. Thank you very much for your valuable time and your cooperation.
