Copilot Notebook Missing After Copilot 365 Migration

My notebook "Training Plan for Intercom Project" was fully accessible on 22/10/2026.

On 23/10/2026 I was informed that Copilot 365 was being migrated to Copilot.

After the migration, the notebook title remained visible but its contents became inaccessible.

Clicking the notebook does nothing.

The notebook reports:

  • No preview available
  • Limit reached: Copilot can chat about the 20 oldest items in your notebook

This notebook contains several months of work relating to a commercial software project.

Can Microsoft confirm whether the notebook contents are still stored and whether this is a migration or synchronization issue?

    Hi, Wayne

With several months of project work involved, I would avoid deleting or rebuilding the notebook. Migration can temporarily leave content unavailable, but I can’t confirm from this forum whether your specific notebook’s contents remain stored.

Here are some suggestions you can try:

Confirm you’re using the same account and sign-in method as before, then fully close and reopen Copilot or refresh the web page. If a migration message provides a link to your previous content, try that link.

Check OneDrive for uploaded or generated files and save separate copies of anything accessible. This does not confirm that the notebook’s conversations are intact.

Select… > Send feedback > Report a problem. Include the notebook title, October 22 last-access date, October 23 migration date, both warnings, and a screenshot without confidential project information. Ask Microsoft to investigate the migration and confirm the data’s status.
