Hello Microsoft Q&A Community,
I'm experiencing an issue with my Azure for Students subscription and would appreciate help from the Azure support team or anyone who has encountered a similar problem.
Error message:
Unable to renew Azure for Students Please try again shortly or contact us
Session ID: 106ac5c7-c6ac-492e-a5f9-e8b313abad38
Timestamp (UTC): 2026-10-25 02:55:55
I tried to contact Microsoft Support using the provided contact options, but I couldn't get through. When I tried to create an Azure support request, the links redirected me to pages that reported that I didn't have permission to access them.
This leaves me unable to resolve the renewal issue through the normal support process.
Unfortunately, the subscription is still missing, and I cannot submit a support request.
Could someone from the Azure for Students or Azure for Education support team please help investigate the following?
I am happy to provide screenshots and any additional information needed through an appropriate private support channel.
Thank you for your time and assistance.

How did you go with Support??
Hello Nguyen
Thank you for the detailed information. It sounds like you've already done the sensible troubleshooting, so I wouldn't keep retrying the renewal for now.
First up lets ensure you are in the correct directory - Go to >Azure Portal → account menu → Switch directory and make sure you're viewing the directory associated with your student account. You can also check the Azure Education Pane for the subscription. A similar Microsoft Q&A case used these as the initial checks when the student subscription wasn't visible. [learn.microsoft.com]
If it's still missing after you have verified the above check, then an account level review will be needed. Microsoft Learn directs Azure for Students users with subscription issues to create a support request. I have attached the link here for you -
Definitely keep that Session ID, timestamp and screenshots on hand for support.
Another small thing I noticed: the question is tagged Artifact Signing, but this is really an Azure for Students/subscription issue. I suggest changing the tag if possible - this ensures your issue is seen and responded to by the right team and saves you from being redirected.
Hope this helps, all the best with your learning.
