Because the blank page began simultaneously for multiple users, first check your tenant-specific Microsoft 365 service health, then use an InPrivate and cross-browser test to distinguish a service-side issue from cached Edge data.
1. Check for a tenant-specific incident
- Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center with an administrator account.
- Go to Health → Service health.
- Look for an active advisory involving Microsoft Entra ID, My Apps, application access, or authentication.
- Review Issue history if no active advisory appears.
The public Microsoft status page currently shows no confirmed Microsoft-wide My Apps incident, but a tenant- or region-specific event might only appear in the admin center ^1^ ^2^.
If an advisory matches the start time and symptoms, monitor that advisory rather than changing users’ assignments or reinstalling Edge.
2. Isolate browser versus service behavior
Test one affected account as follows:
- Open an Edge InPrivate window and browse to
https://myapps.microsoft.com.
- Test the same account in another supported browser.
- Test a second affected user on another device or network.
Interpret the result:
- Works in InPrivate or another browser: the issue is likely confined to the normal Edge profile, cached site data, or an extension.
- Blank in every browser/device for multiple users: focus on tenant service health, authentication policy changes, and support escalation.
- Only one user is affected: inspect that user’s account, application assignments, licenses, and sign-in records.
My Apps displays applications granted to a work or school account through Microsoft Entra ID ^3^.
3. If InPrivate works, clear targeted Edge data
Avoid clearing all browser data initially because that signs the user out of other websites.
- In Edge, open Settings and more → Settings → Privacy, search, and services.
- Open Cookies → See all cookies and site data.
- Search for and delete site data associated with:
-
myapps.microsoft.com
-
microsoft.com
- Microsoft sign-in pages used by the tenant
- Close all Edge windows, reopen Edge, and sign in again.
Microsoft documents clearing cookies as a My Apps troubleshooting step, and Edge allows deletion for individual sites ^3^ ^4^.
If it remains blank:
- Temporarily disable Edge extensions, especially content blockers or security extensions, and retest.
- Update Edge through Settings and more → Settings → About Microsoft Edge.
- As a final browser-specific measure, close Edge and go to Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps → Microsoft Edge → Modify → Repair. Edge repair should not affect browser data or settings ^5^.
4. If the portal loads but shows no application tiles
This differs from a completely blank page. In Microsoft Entra admin center:
- Go to Entra ID → Enterprise apps → All applications.
- Select an expected application and review Users and groups.
- Confirm that the affected user—or a group containing that user—is assigned.
- Under Entra ID → Users → affected user, review:
- Profile: sign-in is not blocked.
- Groups: expected memberships exist.
- Licenses: required licenses remain assigned.
- If assignments were recently changed, have the user sign out and back in.
Applications must be configured and assigned to the user or one of their groups to appear in My Apps ^3^.
5. Escalate if it remains tenant-wide
Open a Microsoft support request if several users remain affected across browsers, devices, and networks with no matching health advisory. Include:
- UTC date and exact timeframe when the problem began
- Number and location of affected users
- Browser names and versions
- Whether InPrivate and alternate browsers reproduce it
- Tenant ID
- Affected UPNs supplied privately in the support case
- Correlation/error ID, if shown
- Sanitized screenshot
- Edge developer-tools or Fiddler trace, if your security policy permits it
Microsoft’s My Apps troubleshooting guidance specifically recommends including the correlation ID, UPN, tenant ID, browser, occurrence time/time zone, and available Fiddler traces ^3^.
