    Hi Luis Rodriguez,

A Surface Laptop that won’t start or charge may need further troubleshooting or a hardware assessment. Since your device is only two years old and online support hasn’t helped, the best next step is to contact a live Surface support agent who can review the warranty and available service options.

Before arranging service, disconnect any accessories, connect the charger designed for your Surface and leave it charging for at least 15 minutes. Then press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds. If it remains completely unresponsive, it may need to be sent in for inspection or repair.

As this is a community forum, so moderators and community members don’t have access to your account, warranty information or repair records. A Surface support agent will be better placed to check those details and assist with a service request.

To contact a live Surface support agent:

    1. Go to Contact Microsoft Support and sign in with your Microsoft account.
    2. Type Live Support, then select Get help.
    3. Scroll down and choose Contact support.
    4. Under Products and services, select Surface.
    5. Choose your Surface model and select Confirm.
    6. Choose whichever support option is available and works best for you:
      • Chat with a support agent in your web browser.
      • Provide your phone number and request a call from an agent.
      • Submit a repair request.

You can also visit Microsoft account devices, register the Surface if it isn’t already listed and select the device to check its warranty and start a service order.

It’s a good idea to have the serial number, proof of purchase and details from your previous support contact ready. The agent can review the device’s warranty and explain which repair or replacement options are available. If the warranty has expired, they can also confirm whether a paid service option is offered.

I hope this helps you reach the right support team and get the device properly assessed.

    Best regards.
