I can see how unsettling it is to find something unusual on your PC, Nobody.
However, I'd like to ask where you got that information. Because the text you quoted is an overview of Microsoft's enterprise security tools, which means a personal PC that isn't managed by an organization wouldn't have those.
What your PC does have, is Microsoft Defender Antivirus, which is built into Windows and runs by default. It can use a cloud service to check suspicious files, which may be what you're worrying about. If you'd rather limit that, you can do this:
- Open Windows Security > Virus & threat protection.
- Under Virus & threat protection settings, select Manage settings.
- Turn OFF Cloud-delivered protection and Automatic sample submission.
- If you're blocked from making these changes, check if Tamper Protection is on.
Disclaimer: Without these features, Defender can only rely on local resources for catching threats. It won't be able to update timely with recent patterns of attacks. So once these are off, your PC may be exposed to more risks.
If you're unsure, could you tell us the exact app, process or update name that made you think AI was installed? In addition, it's worth noting that Windows 10 has also reached end of support. Consider planning an upgrade to Windows 11 if your device is eligible.
