Hello Herath,
Thank you for posting question on Microsoft Windows Forum!
Based on the issue description. Well! When the Print Spooler service starts and then immediately stops on a Windows 11 Version 23H2 (x64) laptop. The possible causes for this behavior might be a corrupted print queue, an incompatible printer driver, or a faulty printing component.
You can try to configure automatic recovery. Go to the Recovery tab. Then set First failure, Second failure, and Subsequent failures all to Restart the Service. Also set Reset fail count after to 1 day and click Apply then OK.
If the above approach do not work. The suggestion is to clear the print queue and restart the service. Stop the spooler service. Then open File Explorer and navigate to this path C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS delete all files inside the PRINTERS folder (Please note: Do not delete the folder itself). These are cached print jobs. Finally, restart the spooler service to see if it works.
Otherwise, open event viewer and navigate to Windows Logs > Application . Then look for errors at the exact time you attempted to start Print Spooler. Pay particular attention to these Event ID 1000 which is Application Error, Event ID 1001 which is Windows Error Reporting and errors mentioning spoolsv.exe or a printer-related .dll file. Also navigate to Applications and Services Logs > Microsoft > Windows > PrintService > Operational and look for the faulting module name, error code, and event timestamp. A third-party DLL associated with the printer driver can indicate which component is crashing the spooler.
