Hello Thomas George,
Has the answer provided by AI able to help you solve this issue?
I would like to add an additional step; you can try unlinking and reconnecting OneDrive:
- Select the OneDrive cloud icon in the taskbar.
- Select Help & Settings > Settings > Account.
- Select Unlink this PC, then sign in again with the Microsoft account that owns the folder.
- When prompted that the OneDrive folder already exists, select Use this folder.
- After OneDrive finishes reconnecting, try Manage access again from File Explorer.
Unlinking does not delete files stored in OneDrive, but any pending changes should be allowed to finish syncing first.
Also, could you confirm whether the error affects every folder or only this particular folder? If possible, create a new test folder, share it, and check whether its access can be managed. This will help determine whether the problem is with the OneDrive connection or the original folder’s sharing configuration.
Please also let me know the result and whether this is a personal or work/school OneDrive account. I'll be happy to help
