History of meetings

Please let me know how I can see history of meetings as it is not in my calendar.

    Use the Meet app’s Recent section to find past Teams meetings that no longer appear in your calendar.

    Find past meetings

    1. In the Teams desktop app, select More added apps in the left app bar.
    2. Search for Meet, then open it.
    3. To keep it visible, right-click Meet and select Pin.
    4. Under Recent, select:
      • All — all available past meetings and their details.
      • Content — materials shared in meetings.
      • Recorded — meetings with available recordings.
      • Missed — meetings you were invited to but did not attend; this requires the applicable premium capability.
    5. Hover over a meeting and select View recap for its recording, transcript, notes, or other available details. ^1^

    Other places to check

    • Meeting chat: Search the meeting title or organizer in Chat. If the meeting chat is still available, it can provide the conversation and shared files.
    • Calendar: Select Calendar, move to the meeting date, and open the past recorded meeting. Select Recap or Chat. ^2^
    • Meeting Recaps app: This lists scheduled meetings from the past 30 days that were recorded or transcribed. It excludes instant Meet Now meetings, calls, and meetings without a recording or transcript. It is also unavailable when the mailbox is hosted on an on-premises Exchange server. ^3^

    If it was a direct call rather than a scheduled meeting

    Go to Calls > History. This is a separate list of past incoming, outgoing, and missed calls; it is not the scheduled-meeting history. Availability depends on having Enterprise Voice or Business Voice as part of the Microsoft 365 subscription. ^4^

    If none of these locations contains the meeting, the available user-facing views may no longer have an item for it. A Teams administrator can check organizational reporting for meeting participation counts, but those reports are administrative analytics rather than a replacement for your personal meeting list. ^5^

    If you are referring to meetings that no longer appear in your calendar, please note that if the meeting organizer deletes or cancels the meeting, it may no longer be visible from the attendees' calendars.

    It may also be worth checking with your Microsoft 365 administrator to determine whether any retention or messaging records management policies are configured in your organization that could automatically remove calendar items after a certain period.
