In Azure for Education, I can only see Microsoft Visio 2019 Now. I used to see other versions of Visio such as 2021 and could access the key. Is this a recent change?

Thanks

    Dear Kendra,

As forum moderator, I wish I could inspect the entitlement and software catalog directly, but only the Azure for Education support team or your institution’s administrator can confirm the account-level change. From my research, Visio 2021 reached end of support on October 13, 2026, so its disappearance shortly after that date may be connected to its retirement. However, Microsoft has not published documentation confirming that this milestone automatically removes it from every Azure Education Hub catalog. I recommend contacting your school’s IT or Azure Dev Tools for Teaching administrator first and asking them to confirm:

    1. Whether your institution’s education entitlement is still active.
    2. Whether they can still see Visio 2021 or a newer edition in the administrator portal.
    3. Whether your student or faculty role is being recognized correctly.

If the administrator sees the same issue, submit a request through Azure Dev Tools for Teaching support. If you don't know who your IT administrator is, please refer to this article: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support
I hope this helps. Looking forward to your reply.
