Accessing, sharing, and managing documents and media within Microsoft Teams Free
If this is a Microsoft personal subscription, cancel it from Subscriptions:
- Go to Subscriptions and sign in with the Microsoft account that was used to buy the subscription.
- Find the subscription and select Manage.
- Select Cancel. In some cases, it may show Upgrade or Cancel.
- Follow the on-screen steps to complete cancellation.
Important checks if Cancel is not available:
- If Turn on recurring billing appears instead of Manage, the subscription is already set to expire on the shown date and no further action is needed.
- If the subscription was bought through Google Play or the Apple App Store, cancellation or refund must be handled through that store’s support.
- If the subscription was bought from a third-party retailer, contact that retailer directly.
- If the wrong Microsoft account is signed in, sign out and try the account that originally purchased the subscription.
If the charge has already appeared after cancellation, cancellations must be made more than 2 days before the billing date.
If the goal is to stop using Teams without canceling the Microsoft account, sign out of Teams from the profile picture menu and select Sign out.
