Try these in order:
- Turn Magnifier off:
- Press Windows key + Esc.
- If Magnifier is still on, change zoom directly:
- Zoom out: Windows key + Minus (-)
- Zoom in: Windows key + Plus (+)
- If a mouse is available, Magnifier zoom can also be changed with:
- Ctrl + Alt + mouse wheel down to zoom out
- If the whole desktop is still too large after Magnifier is off, change display scaling:
- Open Start > Settings > System > Display
- Under Scale and layout, set Change the size of text, apps, and other items to the Recommended value.
- Also in Display settings, check resolution:
- Under Display resolution, choose the Recommended value.
- If only text is too large, on supported Windows settings pages reduce text size:
- Press Windows key + U
- Select Text size
- Move the slider left, then select Apply
- If the screen became enlarged after a restart and display settings cannot be corrected, check the display adapter in Device Manager:
- If the AMD display adapter is disabled, enable it and restart.
- Updating the GPU driver can also help.
