Passing AB-100 alone does not award the certification; the Microsoft Certified: Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect Expert credential appears only after AB-100 and at least one eligible prerequisite Associate certification are recorded in the same Microsoft Learn profile.^1^
Check the prerequisite
You must also hold at least one of these certifications:
- MB-280, PL-200, MB-330, PL-400
- MB-230, MB-310, MB-500, MB-800, or MB-820
- AI-300 or AI-103
- AB-620, AB-210, AB-410, or AB-250
Open your Learn profile and check whether both the passed AB-100 exam and one of these active prerequisite certifications appear under the same account.
If you already meet the prerequisite
Because you passed on October 14, allow 24–48 hours for the exam result and certification to appear.^2^
If it is still missing after that period:
- Sign out of Microsoft Learn.
- Sign in using any other personal, work, or school account that may have been used when registering for AB-100.
- Check each account’s Learn profile for the exam and prerequisite certification. Microsoft notes that missing credentials are often associated with a different Learn profile or login account.^3^
- If both requirements are recorded in the same profile but the expert certification is still absent, use Microsoft Credentials Support through the Contact Support section of the missing-credentials page.^3^
If you do not hold one of the listed prerequisites, you must earn one before the expert certification can be issued.
