Open the Surface service order from your Microsoft account’s Devices page and select Print shipping label; since the order was created three days ago, there is no need to wait longer for the email.
Retrieve the label online
- Go to Microsoft account | Devices.
- Sign in with the same Microsoft account used to create and pay for the service order.
- Find the Surface associated with the order and expand its details.
- Next to Service Orders, select Check status.
- Open Print shipping label. This should display the label and its tracking number so that you can print or save it. ^1^
Microsoft advises checking spam or junk if the email has not arrived within 24 hours. Since your order is already three days old, check those folders once, but use the Devices page rather than continuing to wait. ^1^
If there is no Print shipping label option
- Read the instructions shown within the service order. Some regions use courier pickup or local drop-off instead of an emailed shipping label. If that applies, the order should provide the relevant instructions. ^2^
- If the order is visible but has neither a label nor alternative shipping instructions, contact Surface Support:
- Open the Surface support page in a browser.
- Describe the issue, such as “Paid Surface service order has no shipping label after three days.”
- Select Get Help and proceed to the available contact option. ^3^
Have the service-order number available for the support agent, but do not post the number, device serial number, address, email address, or other personal details publicly.
