My account has been hacked and I can't send emails and emails I get sent to me are sometimes coming back with an 'undelivered' bounce back like the heading. A rule had been set up on my emails which I deleted but I am still having this issue, there are no other rules or forwarding set up and I've tried sending myself an email and keep getting the bounceback, it isn't the content of emails it is just sending any form of email that seems to be the issue.

    Hello,

I've seen a surge in reports from other users experiencing the same issue on the forum over the last several days. Unfortunately, Microsoft hasn't publicly acknowledged the problem.

I'm curious if changing the email format would make a difference. Could you try switching from HTML to Plain Text or Rich Text using the instructions below and see if the email goes through?

    https://support.microsoft.com/office/change-the-message-format-to-html-rich-text-format-or-plain-text-in-outlook-338a389d-11da-47fe-b693-cf41f792fefa

If the issue persists, please report it directly to Microsoft so the engineering team can investigate.

In Outlook.com, go to Help > Feedback > Report a problem.

Provide as much detail as possible, including screenshots or a screen recording if available.

I also recommend selecting Yes when asked whether you'd like to share diagnostic logs. These logs can help Microsoft's engineering team identify what's causing the problem.
