Azure Artifact Signing organization identity verification blocked by "You need permission"
We are enrolling our organization in Azure Artifact Signing.
Our Artifact Signing account was created successfully, and our organization identity-validation request currently shows "In Progress."
We received Microsoft's "Action required: Complete your Artifact Signing identity validation" email. However, following the link to credentials.microsoft.com and authenticating results in the message "You need permission."
Troubleshooting completed:
Confirmed that the Microsoft account can access the Artifact Signing resource in Azure.
Assigned the Artifact Signing Identity Verifier role to the appropriate Microsoft Entra user at the signing account resource scope.
Retried the verification link in a fresh Chrome Incognito session.
Observed that the credentials website reports a different Entra tenant ID from the directory containing our Azure subscription and Artifact Signing resource.
Attempted "Contact us to request access," but the button does not open a usable support request.
The issue persists. We have not deleted or recreated the existing identity-validation request.
Could an Artifact Signing specialist clarify whether this is an identity/tenant authorization mismatch and explain how to complete verification of the existing organization request?
We can provide the validation request ID, tenant IDs, and account details privately through an appropriate Microsoft support channel.
