The process of installing, configuring, and customizing Visual Studio to support development workflows across languages, platforms, and workloads.
Hi @JONG Kim ,
Thank you for raising this question.
Based on current Microsoft licensing guidance, Visual Studio 2026 Professional is no longer activated through a product key obtained from the Visual Studio Subscriptions portal. Instead, the IDE is normally licensed by signing in with the Microsoft account that has the assigned Visual Studio Subscription.
For qualifying offline, managed, or large-scale deployment scenarios, Microsoft indicates that Visual Studio 2026 licensing keys may still be available through an organization's Volume Licensing administrator. These keys are not provided through the standard Visual Studio Subscriptions Product Keys page.
Therefore, if the computer running Visual Studio cannot access the Internet and cannot perform subscription sign-in:
- Contact your organization's Volume Licensing Administrator.
- Verify whether your organization has a qualifying Volume Licensing agreement that includes Visual Studio 2026.
- Ask whether a Visual Studio 2026 offline/volume licensing key has been issued for your deployment scenario.
If your organization does not have access to a qualifying Volume Licensing entitlement, please review your licensing options with your licensing administrator or Microsoft licensing representative.
If you found my response helpful or informative, I would greatly appreciate it if you could follow this guide for your confirmation. Thank you.
