Cannot activate Home 2024 with a key

I bought Office Home 2024. My new PC obviously offered only Microsoft 365 where I've put the key. There was no Home 2024. Anyhow it accepted the key but my Office doesn't work and it still asks me to pay for it!

When I go to Microsoft account and to Subscriptions only what it offers is Microsoft 365 which I don't want!

Please help me to activate Office Home 2024 as I already paid the full amount and am not planning to pay more!

This is really frustrating as I already tried too many things that didn't help.

What I did and didn't help was:

  • Windows: Settings > System > Activation > Change product key, then enter the 25-character key. It said: "it sayes "Activation status" is active" but the 365 and not Home!!!
  • Signed to: https://setup.office.com
  • went to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/redeem and when I put the key (it was correctly written) it said "This code has already been redeemed."
  • I also went to Microsoft account > Services & subscriptions - it sayes Microsoft 365 is free to start but I bought Office home
  • I went to Setup Office - Office 365 Redemption> when I looged in into Setup Office - Office 365 Redemption it sayes "get started" when i click on it it asks for the key. i put in the key but it says this: We'll add your product key to my hotmail Change This product key was redeemed by gmail that I used for signing in on September
  • what ever I do it never offers Office Home 2024 which I fully paid! Just please let me know how can I finally use the Office i paid for!?!?!?!?!

    Since you have associated your product key with an account, use that account to activate your installation of Office Home 2024. You can't enter the product key a second time.
