    Hi, let me help you.

Have you tried a hard reset?

Shut the laptop down completely, then unplug the charger and everything else attached (USB devices, external monitors, dongles). Press and hold the power button for 15 to 30 seconds, then let go. This drains the residual power from the motherboard, which does the same job as pulling a removable battery. Leave it for a minute or so, then plug the charger back in and power on.

Try these steps in order for a Lenovo Yoga touchscreen that shows the display normally but does not respond to touch:

    1. Restart the PC If touch still does not work after restart, continue below.
    2. Install all Windows updates, including optional updates In Windows 11:
      • Right-click Start > Settings > Windows Update > Advanced options.
      • Make sure Receive updates for other Microsoft products is On.
      • Under Additional options, select Optional updates.
      • Select all optional updates, then Download and install.
      • Go back to Windows Update.
      • Select Check for updates.
      • Install all available updates.
      • Restart the device.
    3. Check whether the touchscreen is disabled
      • Right-click Start > Device Manager.
      • Expand Human Interface Devices.
      • Right-click HID-compliant touch screen.
      • Select Enable device if that option appears.
      • If there are multiple HID-compliant touch screen entries, repeat for each one.
    4. If the touchscreen is enabled, reinstall the touchscreen device
      • In Device Manager > Human Interface Devices.
      • Right-click HID-compliant touch screen.
      • Select Uninstall device.
      • Restart the PC.
    5. Test outside Windows if possible If touch does not work in BIOS or UEFI either, that points away from Windows and toward a hardware issue.
    6. If touch still does not respond at all When touch does not respond on part or all of the screen, and mouse/keyboard still work, the recommended next step is service/repair. Back up data first, because troubleshooting may lead to reset or replacement.

If HID-compliant touch screen is missing entirely in Device Manager, a hard power cycle can help re-detect hardware:

    • Hold the power button for about 30 seconds.
    • Start the PC again.
    • Then check Device Manager and Windows Update again.
