How to redeem Microsoft rewards?

To redeem Microsoft Rewards points:

1. Sign in to the Rewards site and choose the reward to redeem.
2. If verification is required, use one of the supported verification methods.

For the current issue:

1. Use Verify with the Bing app on the Rewards redemption page.
2. Scan the QR code with a mobile device.
3. Enter the 6-digit verification code after scanning.
4. Return to the original redemption screen and complete the redemption.

Important details:

• The QR code option appears only when all of these are true:
  • redeeming a reward and prompted to verify the account
  • using a web browser on a PC or mobile device
  • the reward is not set up for Auto-redeem
• The QR code option does not appear when redeeming inside the Bing app.
• QR code verification may not be available in some countries or regions.
• For Rewards redemption, a mobile phone or landline number is supported for SMS verification. VoIP numbers are not permitted.
• If too many incorrect phone verification attempts were made, it is necessary to wait 48 hours before trying again.
• A phone number can be associated with up to 6 accounts per household for Microsoft Rewards.
• Rewards must be redeemed in the same region as the Microsoft account. Do not use a VPN or proxy.

If the QR flow is opening incorrectly or not completing, try these steps:

1. Update the browser and operating system.
2. Clear browser cache and cookies.
3. Temporarily turn off VPNs, proxies, or third-party security software.
4. Try a different browser, device, or network.
5. Make sure redemption is being started from the Rewards website in a browser, not inside the Bing app.

If SMS verification is being used instead of QR:

1. Confirm the code entered matches the code sent to the phone.
2. Use a different non-VoIP mobile or landline number if the current number has already been used on too many Rewards accounts.
3. If currently traveling or appearing to be in another region, wait until back in the home country or region before redeeming.

If none of the steps resolve it, submit a request to Microsoft Rewards Support.
