    Hello Nella Kamalahasan,

    Thank you for reaching out.

I would like to understand the account setup and the exact issue more clearly before suggesting troubleshooting steps. Could you please confirm the following information?

    • Is the client email address a personal account, such as Outlook.com or Hotmail, or a work or school account managed by an organization?
    • Did the client provide you with a separate account and password, or were you invited to the client’s organization as a guest?
    • What is the complete error message or error code displayed when you try to add the account?
    • Does the same issue occur in both Outlook and Teams, or does each application display a different error?
    • If possible, could you provide screenshots of the errors in Outlook and Teams?

Before sharing any screenshots, please hide complete email addresses, tenant names, correlation IDs, and other personal or organizational information.

If you are trying to add another account to Microsoft Teams, you may refer to the following Microsoft guidance: Manage accounts and organizations in Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Support

However, the current description does not provide enough information to determine whether the issue is related to the client account, guest access, mailbox configuration, organizational policy, or the local applications.

Please provide the requested details so I can better understand the situation and offer the most appropriate guidance.

    Kind regards,
