HI

I'm experiencing a major problem to my account. My account is hacked by someone and they took my email. They changed my account to something else. I tried making an account with the same account and said I've been banned from account creation. I did not do anything to my account. Please help

You can not create a new account with the same email address. Microsoft does not allow the reuse of an Account ID even if the original account has been closed or the alias has been removed.

Even using a new Account ID, you may still have problems with Account Creation. There is an ongoing service issue.

If the original Microsoft account email now shows as nonexistent or was changed, the sign-in alias was likely changed by the attacker rather than the account being deleted.

    Recommended steps:

    1. Use the hacked-account recovery flow first. Enter the original email address and follow the recovery options shown.
    2. If access is restored, immediately:
      • Run a full malware scan on the PC before changing the password.
      • Change or reset the password.
      • Review account settings such as connected accounts, forwarding, and automatic replies.
    3. If the account is temporarily blocked, try signing in at https://account.microsoft.com to unlock it.
    4. If the account was locked and the Let’s prove you’re human option does not appear, use the aka.ms/ link shown in the sign-in window and submit the reinstatement form. After submission, wait for the Microsoft Online Safety support agent to review it and respond by email. Do not submit multiple requests.
    5. If account creation is blocked after trying to recreate the same email, stop repeated sign-up attempts for at least 24 hours. Repeated registrations can keep triggering the restriction.
    6. If self-help does not resolve it, use the Microsoft sign-in helper. It can guide to the correct recovery path and may offer the chance to talk to an agent.

    Important:

    • If the account was hacked, run the antivirus full scan before changing the password.
    • If Outlook.com mailbox or OneDrive storage is full, email sending and receiving can also be affected.
    • Support agents can only send password reset links or change account details through the account reinstatement process.
