Troubleshooting website display or functionality issues in Edge on Windows 11
Hi James Beam,
If the filtering is being applied by your school, workplace, or another organization that manages the device, it’s best not to try to bypass it. If a legitimate website is being blocked, please contact your school/work IT administrator and ask them to review or allow the site.
Some managed Edge filtering configurations can also provide a Request access option directly on the blocked page. If this is your own personal device and it isn’t supposed to be managed, let us know what appears on the ContentKeeper block page and we can help narrow down where the filtering is coming from.
Hope this helps point you in the right direction.
Could you please clarify what you mean by ContentKeeper filtering? Are you receiving a message indicating that a website has been blocked in Microsoft Edge? If so, please share the exact error message or a screenshot (without personal information). Also, does this happen with every website or only certain websites?
Additionally, is your Windows 11 computer a personal device or one managed by a school or organization? Are you connected to a home, school, or workplace network? This information is important because ContentKeeper restrictions may be enforced by a network administrator rather than Microsoft Edge itself, which would determine the available options.
