My History has been deleted

My previous Copilot conversations were available before the update. After being redirected to the new updated Copilot experience, the entire previous chat history is missing.  I have signed into the correct work Microsoft 365 account. The issue also occurs in Microsoft Edge InPrivate/Incognito, so this is not a browser cache or cookie issue.

The old Copilot page redirects to the new updated experience, but none of the previous conversations are available there.

Please check the account-level Copilot chat-history migration/synchronisation and restore/relink the previous conversations if they still exist in the backend.

I have sent feedback twice but no response.

    Hello Rebecca Dougherty

Thank you for reaching out and informed us about the situation with Copilot. I understand that the previous chat is missing and you can no longer able to access it anymore. Since you mentioned that you've signed in to your correct work Microsoft 365 account, so I presume that you're using a work account, right?

If yes, please reach out to your company's IT department and ask to review internal policy/rules that may have delete your conversation, if the IT department also can't recover it, ask them to submit a support ticket by following: Get support for Microsoft 365 for business

As of now, there are many other users who reported that they are experiencing the same issue as you are but with a personal account. If the chat are missing on your personal account by any chance, please follow:

    • Go to account.microsoft.com/privacy/copilot and click Export all activity history on each version of Copilot showing on the menu, then the chat history will be export to a CSV file and you should be able to view your shared conversation.

And according to this thread, the user has reach out to Microsoft Support directly and they have confirmed this is a known issue for personal user, if that the case, then I can only advise you to wait for further updates from Microsoft.
