Hi, @Keeli Hennessy

Yes. Once your partner's current subscription has expired, you can add him to your Microsoft 365 Family subscription.

The person who purchases Microsoft 365 Family will be the subscription owner. After purchasing it, sign in at https://account.microsoft.com/services open the Microsoft 365 Family subscription, and choose the sharing option to invite your partner.

He should accept the invitation using his own Microsoft account. He will keep his own files, email, and OneDrive separate from yours, and Microsoft 365 Family can be shared with up to five other people.

Microsoft's sharing instructions are here:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/accounts-billing/subscriptions/share-your-microsoft-365-subscription

If he is already a member of another Microsoft Family group, he will need to leave that group before joining yours.

Click "Add comment" to let me know if you have any trouble sending or accepting the invitation.

Thanks!
