    Hello Iza, Karina

Azure under a commercial Enterprise Agreement does not have a fixed 30, 60, or 90-day billing cutoff after the EA expires.

For a commercial EA, the enrollment normally moves to Indefinite Extended Term after the agreement end date. Azure services can continue running and usage continues to be billed until the subscriptions are renewed, transferred, or cancelled. Microsoft states that pricing during this period changes to retail rates, and unused Azure Prepayment generally expires when the enrollment ends. Microsoft Learn

Microsoft also explicitly says that the normal Extended Period Term opt-out process does not stop Azure services after EA expiration; Azure continues to be provided and billed. To stop future Azure charges, the Azure subscriptions/services must be cancelled or transferred appropriately. Microsoft Learn

Azure can continue to be billed indefinitely after a commercial EA expires, as long as Azure subscriptions remain active under the Indefinite Extended Term. There is no automatic short grace-period cutoff.

There is an exception for enrollments that actually enter Expired status, for example certain government agreements. Even then, Microsoft says services are not necessarily disabled immediately, and billing/usage continues to be generated while subscriptions remain active. Microsoft Learn
