Hi Susan,
I understand how concerning it is to lose access to Copilot and see an unexpected change in the subscription associated with the account.
Could you please confirm whether you are signing in with a personal Microsoft account or a work/school account? Also, where exactly do you see that the subscription changed to Microsoft 365 Family?
Please make sure you are signing in with the exact Microsoft account linked to the subscription. You can check the current plan on the Services & subscriptions page. If this is a personal account, there would normally be no organization administrator managing it. If it is a work or school account, the Microsoft 365 administrator for that organization may need to review the Copilot license and access settings.
Since the issue also involves an unexpected subscription change and missing Copilot content, please contact Microsoft Support. If the Support Assistant appears, enter:
“I need to speak with a live support agent about a Copilot sign-in issue, an unexpected subscription change, and missing Copilot history.”
This is a user-to-user forum, so contributors cannot access account records, billing information, sign-in logs, or recover missing Copilot content from the backend. Thank you so much for your understanding.
