    Hi,

Do you get an "unknown device" error when connecting the USB adapter?

    Or

Does it show up as an "Unknown Device" in Device Manager? If possible, please take a screenshot and post it here.

    Thanks.

Try this in order on Windows 11:

    1. Verify the dongle is being detected at all.
      • Open Device Manager.
      • Check under Bluetooth for an adapter name that includes Bluetooth or Radio.
      • If Bluetooth is missing, in Device Manager select View > Show hidden devices.
    2. Fully power off the PC, then power it back on.
      • Hold Shift and select Start > Power > Shut down.
      • Wait about 1 minute.
      • Turn the PC back on.
      • This can restore Bluetooth hardware that has stopped responding.
    3. Update the Bluetooth driver.
      • Open Device Manager.
      • Expand Bluetooth.
      • Right-click the Bluetooth adapter > Update driver > Search automatically for drivers.
      • Restart the PC after the update.
    4. Check Windows Update.
      • Go to Start > Settings > Windows Update.
      • Select Check for updates.
      • Install available updates and restart.
    5. Reinstall the Bluetooth adapter.
      • In Device Manager, expand Bluetooth.
      • Right-click the Bluetooth adapter > Uninstall device.
      • Shut down the PC, then turn it back on.
      • If Windows does not reinstall it automatically, open Device Manager and select Action > Scan for hardware changes.
    6. If the adapter still is not recognized, install the latest Bluetooth driver from the PC manufacturer support site.
      • Search by the PC model number.
      • Install the latest Bluetooth driver for Windows 11.
      • Restart after installation.
    7. If Bluetooth is missing or grayed out in Settings, contact the PC manufacturer.
      • Bluetooth hardware errors are commonly caused by PC-specific driver or firmware issues.

If the dongle appears in Bluetooth but devices still will not pair, also:

    • Put the Bluetooth device into pairing mode.
    • Move it closer to the PC.
    • Charge the device fully.
    • Remove the device from Settings > Bluetooth & devices, then add it again.
