Hello,

I have noticed that I stopped receiving emails from certain senders specifically to my primary email address.

    Hi @Adi Garces

Since messages sent to your other aliases arrive successfully, the mailbox itself is receiving email. The issue appears to be specific to the address currently marked as your primary alias.

Please sign in to your Microsoft account, open Your info > Manage how you sign in to Microsoft, and confirm that the affected address is still listed and marked as Primary alias. Please do not remove the address while checking, as Microsoft-domain aliases may not be recoverable after removal.

Also, ask one affected sender whether they receive a non-delivery report. If so, please share the error code shown in that report, with personal information removed. This will help determine whether the message is being rejected before reaching the mailbox.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any further updates, thanks.

For Outlook.com, this usually means one of these conditions applies:

    1. Check whether the messages are being filtered inside the mailbox.
      • Search for the sender’s full email address and search All folders.
      • Check Junk Email, Deleted Items, Archive, and the Other tab if Focused Inbox is enabled.
      • Go to Settings > Mail > Rules and verify no rule is moving or deleting messages.
      • Go to Settings > Mail > Junk email and confirm the sender address or domain is not listed under blocked senders.
    2. If the sender is not blocked but mail still does not arrive, add the sender or domain to Safe senders and domains.
      • Open Settings > Mail > Junk email.
      • Under Safe senders and domains, select Add safe sender.
      • Enter the email address or domain, then select OK and Save.
    3. If mail from a blocked sender still appears, the sender may be changing addresses or hiding the real sending address.
      • Create an Inbox rule to catch common words and move those messages to Deleted Items.
      • Check the message headers to find the real sender address, then add that address to the blocked senders list.
    4. If messages never appear in any folder, they may be blocked before they reach the mailbox.
      • Ask the sender to check whether they received a non-delivery report.
      • If the rejection mentions SPF fail or authentication requirements, the sender must correct their domain email authentication settings.
      • If the sender sees 5.7.511 Access denied, they should use the Microsoft delist portal at https://sender.office.com.
    5. If the sender uses a non-Microsoft email service address as a Microsoft account alias, the actual mail service may be handled by that provider instead of Outlook.com.
