Redeeming an amazon gift card

That message usually means the reward cannot be redeemed in the current region or the account appears to be redeeming from a restricted location.

Check these items:

1. Redeem only in the same region where the Microsoft Rewards account was created. Microsoft Rewards points must be redeemed in the same region as the Microsoft account.
2. Do not use a VPN or proxy while redeeming. Microsoft specifically says not to use a VPN when redeeming points.
3. Confirm the reward is available in the current market. Rewards and gift cards vary by country/region, and some gift cards are not always available.
4. Use a mobile or landline number if verification is required. VoIP numbers are not permitted for redemption.
5. If currently traveling, wait until back in the home country/region. Rewards cannot be redeemed while traveling in another market/region.

If Amazon gift cards are not showing correctly or remain blocked, check the available offers on the Redeem page and review Order History if a redemption was already attempted.
