I started getting a 'subscription cancelled' message from Excel. I have Office 2024 installed.

    Hi, Doug Loree

Office 2024 is a one-time purchase, so it does not require a subscription renewal. The message may mean Excel is still using a previous Microsoft 365 license instead of your Office 2024 license.

Here are some suggestions you can try:

In Excel, select File > Account and check the product name under Product Information. This shows which Office license Excel is currently using.

Select Switch License, then sign in with the Microsoft account linked to your Office 2024 purchase. Choose Office 2024 if a list appears, then close all Office apps and reopen Excel to finish the change.

If Switch License is missing, select Update Options > Update Now on the Account page, then check again.

If Office 2024 is not offered, please share the exact product name shown under Product Information and where you purchased it. Please do not post your product key or account details.

    Hello

Office 2024 is perpetual license, not subscription. Is that the license you want to use? If so,Ineed to know the full name of the license, for example, is it Office Home 2024, or Office Pro Plus, Standard or LTSC 2024? Did you get the license from Microsoft or third party?

    Is this on Windows 11?
