    Hello,

I will walk through a few steps with you. Some of these are just to help figure out what is wrong, not to fix it right away. So if nothing changes after a step, that is normal. I will keep going until we solve it.

Please send a test email from one of your other accounts to the problematic one. If a bounce-back message is received, please send a screenshot of it.

Our next steps depend on the bounce-back message that is received.

I look forward to hearing from you to get the results of the troubleshooting.

For Outlook.com and Outlook on the web, focus on account access and sync checks first:

    1. Check whether the account is blocked or needs reauthentication.
      • If the password was changed recently, update it.
      • If unusual sign-in activity was detected, the account may be temporarily blocked and must be unblocked.
      • If sign-in itself is failing, use the Microsoft account sign-in helper.
    2. Confirm mail is not being redirected by web settings.
      • In Outlook on the web, go to Settings > Mail > Rules and remove any rule that moves or deletes incoming mail.
      • Check Mail > Forwarding and make sure forwarding is not sending messages elsewhere.
      • Check Junk Email, Focused, and Other views to make sure messages are not being filtered out.
    3. Reset the sending identity settings in Outlook on the web.
      • Go to Settings > Mail > Sync email and verify the sending address under From is correct.
      • Then go to Settings > Mail > Compose and reply and reset the default From address.
      • Sign out, clear the browser cache or try another browser, then sign back in.
    4. Verify the issue is not app-specific.
      • If mail appears in Outlook.com on the web but not in the Outlook app, the problem is with the app sync rather than the mailbox.
    5. If the issue continues in classic Outlook on Windows, use the built-in repair path.
      • Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings > Email.
      • Select the account, then choose Repair if available.
      • If needed, use the Classic Outlook troubleshooters.
    6. If none of the above resolves it, contact support.
