Startups: Companies that are in their initial stages of business and typically developing a business model and seeking financing.
A Microsoft moderator cannot be used here to privately escalate or reopen verification. The supported path is to submit a Microsoft for Startups Program Support request through the Azure portal.
For a verification or benefit issue, Program Support is the correct team because it handles:
- Business or domain verification
- Azure credit activation issues
- Benefit redemption issues
- Billing profile issues
- Entitlement corrections
- Portal access problems
Use this path in Azure portal:
- Sign in to the Azure portal.
- Navigate to the startup homepage.
- In Overview, find Your Microsoft Team.
- Select Get program support.
If the startup experience available is the older Microsoft for Startups portal, the documented path there is:
- Sign in to the Microsoft for Startups Portal.
- Select the ? icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Submit a Support Ticket.
- Attach relevant documents or screenshots of the verification error.
If using Azure Help + support, that path is documented for Azure technical issues such as service errors, outages, production incidents, and subscription or billing problems. It is not the documented route for Microsoft for Startups program-specific verification issues.
Program Support does not directly handle Azure service outages, runtime failures, production debugging, architecture design, or performance tuning.
Since the issue described is specifically business verification and the documented Program Support entry point is missing in the Preview experience, only the supported facts are:
- Verification and compliance issues are in scope for Microsoft for Startups Program Support.
- All startups must submit requests through the Azure portal.
- The documented entry point is Your Microsoft Team → Get program support.
- In the older portal experience, support can be submitted from the ? menu.
